Enrollment Preferences
Returning Families:
1. Current Students who re-enroll by February 1.
2. Younger siblings of current students who have enrolled by February 1.
a. Five year old siblings: An assessment prior to acceptance is required to assess their adaptability to the Montessori environment. The assessment will be conducted by the primary guide in consultation with admin staff.
b. Priority based on age and gender is also considered.
New Family enrollment:
1. Three year old children on wait list.
2. Four year old children on wait list
3. Three year old children
4. Four year old children
5. Five and six year old children are accepted on an exceptional basis.

6. Incoming elementary aged children are accepted on an exceptional basis.
a. An assessment prior to acceptance is required to assess their adaptability to the Montessori environment. The assessment will be conducted by the elementary guide in consultation with admin staff. Age and gender are also considered.
b. The materials/environment used in a Montessori classroom begins in the primary classroom beginning at the age of three and progresses and develops through to age twelve. The familiarity and love for the Montessori materials from a young age establishes an important foundation for the rest of their educational experience.

1. Our waitlist is for children who plan to begin our program at age 3 and 4 years old.
2. All others interested in enrolling will do so when enrollment opens in the winter/spring prior to the start of the school year.
3. As OLMS transitions into our new location for the 2023-24 school year, there will be limited elementary spots available for the 2023-24 school year only.
