The Application Process

RE-ENROLLMENT for returning families

All current students that desire to continue enrollment must re-register each year for the upcoming school year. All current students must re-register during the Priority Registration Period to ensure enrollment for the next school year. Students who reapply after the Priority Registration Period ends are no longer given preference for re-enrollment for the next school year.

New families:

  1. Submit a Family Interest Form to OLMS.

  2. Attend a School Tour - most Tuesdays at 10am. RSVP required.

  3. Contact the school office to schedule a 20 minute classroom observation (parents only).

  4. Schedule a Family Interview with Sr. Laudem Gloriae, Head of School.

  5. Attend Student Assessment: Children ages 3-4 may be asked to meet with an OLMS Primary teacher. Student assessment is required for children ages 5 and up to determine the child’s adaptability to the Montessori environment.
Incoming Elementary children are accepted on an exceptional basis, with preference given to children with previous experience in Montessori and/or independent learning environments.

  6. Request records from previous schools, if applicable.

  7. Enrollment determination made by OLMS.

  8. Registration Packet and Financial Aid Application instructions issued to the family.

  9. Submit Registration Packet with registration deposit to secure enrollment.
